You were very perceptive in your TV watching — that particular pair of field boots are older than the Jeep Barbara found so scroungy. As you know, I’ve been a wearer of Dehner boots for the greatest share of my adult life. In fact, I only strayed once; I was in England in 1949 and had a pair made by Maxwell — then bootmaker to the King. I hurried back to Dehners.

Thanks for taking my order over the phone today. I’m finally replacing my 30 year old black 9″ Tanker boots using the specifications I sent in last year for a new pair of tan ones. The original black pair that I am replacing now were my fathers that I adopted (stole really.. =) to ride motorcycles.
