Imported from the finest tanneries Europe, our imported calfskin has a soft velvety feel. A beautiful hand-rubbed finish makes the calfskin leather the top choice for dress boots, but can be worn for most any occasion. Proper care must be taken however as this leather is a bit more delicate.
All non-black European calfskin leathers such as cordovan, brown or tan will be a bit higher in price. This is because making a hide free of imperfections is much more difficult in lighter colors.

#23 Cordovan Calfskin
More sturdy than the calfskin, our dragoon leather is heavily oiled which helps resist water and makes for easy care. A more “coarse-grained” leather, the dragoon has a flat, dull sheen (due to the oil) and cannot be shined. A perfect choice for boots that will see a lot of work in the field or heavy riding. A real “rough and tough” leather, yet incredibly comfortable with a soft feel.
Black Dragoon
Dynatan Dragoon
Wine Dragoon
Very similar to the Dragoon leather but not oiled. Tough and durable, Voyager leather has a silky finish which shines up beautifully. An ideal leather for those wishing to maintain a dressy appearance while still able to put the boots through heavy use. More durable than calfskin, and at a lower cost. A very popular leather for both military and police boots.
Wayfarer is a slightly corrected cowhide with a bright finish. Not as polished as Patent Leather, but a good substitute. A very popular leather for shoes, law enforcement and riding boots
Black Voyager
Dark Brown Voyager
Wayfarer
A synthetic leather made by Majilite©. Used mainly on the exterior of stock patrol boots. Very low maintenance and able to resist many of the scratches and dings you might experience with a calfskin type leather. Dehcord is only used in the uppers of the boot, while the foot is still constructed in Voyager.
Black Dehcord
The suede used in our ME boots is a rough-out cowhide leather. Produced and tanned in the U.S., it is what you would expect from America’s Premier Bootmakers. Heavy weight for durability, but soft for easy break in and long lasting comfort.
